Love...this can be arguably the most sought after thing in the world. People crave for it. They want it so much that they can go to heights to get it which is beyond imagination. History has proved this again and again.
We often witness that people who are in love do insane things. And nope, they wouldn't do those things if they weren't in love. We may even term them stupid. But are they really? Ask yourself. It might be called stupidity if one or ten people were doing it but millions of people lose their senses while being in love. Why?
There is something in Love. Otherwise why would the whole world be running behind it? Why would people go crazy over it? Why would people in love not have any care in the world? Why does everyone want it?
Just think about it, we are constantly fighting with the world the whole day. We get up, go to work to work for the boss we hate, we talk to some people we don't like just because we have to. Some of us even live because they HAVE TO. We are able do all this despite all the hardships because we have hope. Hope that we'll find love someday. We'll eventually find a person with whom we'll be able to share everything... happiness, misery, adventures, even the tiniest little details of our day. A person who would be there at home after the long, tiring day. Whenever we would see the face of that person, we'd forget all of our problems.
The thing is, we all want to be in love because it allows us to be who we really are. It allows us to be silly and do stupid stuff and still be valued. It allows us to be imperfect and still be appreciated. It allows us to preserve our originality in this fake world. It allows us to create our own imaginary world in which we get to make and break our own rules. It reminds us that no matter how cruel a world gets, we'd have one person who would stand by us no matter what.
Another wonderful yet strange thing about love is, it is not guaranteed to anyone. Unlike many things like success, money, love doesn't always go to the one who deserves it the most or the one who wants it the most. We see it all the time. A number of Hopeless romantics may be struggling to find love but those who doesn't even appreciate the love, they receive it and are showered with it again and again. Love also doesn't follow any rules. Rich and good looking people who seem perfect may have miserable love life and a homeless beggar might be happily eating with his love on the street. Some might get love without even trying and some might know love inside out, search for it their whole life and still be devoid of it!
This world has never been kind to both, love and people who love. It always criticizes love for everything and believes that love is the root cause of every problem. It says love makes you mad, being in love is risky, and what not. But what if even this all is true? Isn't it worth to risk everything for love? After knowing what being in love feels like, who wouldn't want to fall in love? And if you don't, then you have a serious issue my friend!
